When wealth and power transfer into darkness

I was in the basement only a few moments before I heard the gunshots ringing out, somewhere to my right. Instantly, I ran in the direction of where the noise was thundering from and found another employee’s door towards the parking garage. I quickly scanned my card and cautiously opened the door to see what looked like three white males firing guns towards a closed parking exit door. My heart sank as it was in the direct path that would filter everyone to the last level and out of the hotel.

What many didn’t know about me, what Sasha didn’t know, but Harris did was in the earlier part of my life, I was in the military. I was trained to be a sniper and was pretty good at it. Yet, I left the army due to fighting some of my superiors and had been dishonorably discharged. But what I took with me was the skill. In that moment, my militant mind took over and I took my nine and accurately shot all two of them in the back of the head as the third one, rolled and ran for the door in which he had been just aiming at. I shot at him but he kept low, shooting in my direction what sounded like nearly a full clip. I waited until I felt his gun was empty and pushed the door and found that he had gone inside of the door he had been shooting from. I debated for a moment whether to find him…
